At Consolidated Public Water Supply District No. 2 of Lafayette, Johnson & Saline Counties, our goal is to provide safe, clean, drinking water to all of our residents!
The water district sold its first drop of water in 1976. Since that time, the district has added 4 Phases and three towns. The district currently has approx. 2,870 active customers, 800 miles of water line, six water towers, two ground storage tanks and seven booster pump stations. The water district purchases all of its water from the folowing suppliers: City of Higginsville, City of Concordia, Marshall Utilities, City of Lexington and City of Waverly. The district wholesales water to the City of Sweet Springs, PWSD No. 1 of Pettis, Johnson and Saline Counties, and the City of Alma.
